What began as a Weezer cover band turned into something much, much worse.

A year of COVID-induced quarantine has inspired the release of many contemplative, homespun recordings. There is no such introspection here.

Spurred on by a strict "nothing longer than two minutes" rule, the four rotten brains behind Hot Puds (seriously, what kind of name is that?) traded audio files over WhatsApp throughout COVID lockdowns. Four of these tracks are brought together on their deeply fun and profoundly stupid debut EP. On it, you can hear shades of Guided By Voices, Tony Molina and, of course, Weezer. Above all, this is the sound of four boys that have collectively lost their minds during a tumultuous year.

And for that, we're truly sorry. But come on...it's only 6 minutes long.
